Go Bucks!

I wonder what it's like to live in a state that's not Ohio tonight. At Wal Mart this morning, I think I maybe saw two people (out of many!) who weren't wearing their scarlet and gray, such is the hype about the BCS Championship against U of Florida. Our kids were all decked out in their OSU gear before they headed off to bed tonight. We let them stay up a little later, so they could see some of the game. They watched for about 20 minutes, which was enough to see both teams score one time. We're almost to halftime now and, as the announcer just said, "It's shaping up to be a wild game..." I know I'm an optimist, but this game hasn't really been what I had in mind.

The football game wasn't exactly what Erin had in mind, either. When she put on her sweatshirt today, and I told her she could wear it for the OSU ball game, she got all excited about going to the ball at OSU. Her visions of twirling to the music may have been dashed, but I think she was OK with it, when she got to practice tackling while we were waiting for the game to start.

And you can imagine being in Flroida for this event. Twirling around seems to be the way to handle it.

I love that picture, Bob! :)

Us Hoosiers were all pumped for the game yesterday too! I logged on today and saw the picture and had to smile... so cute and such great fans! If you notice Abbi had to change her shirt due to a slight mishap with the pizza sauce. Dan and I decided that Buckeye pizza was not bad luck, so we are making it again next season. :)

Love ya!

It's nice to know that Erin has such an enriched vocabulary that she knows what a ball is. What a kick!

I have concluded that in selecting a college or university, one should base the selection on the school colors. Who on earth every thought that orange and blue looked good together??? Of course, I remember now that Wheaton College also was orange and blue. I didn't like it any better back then. I think if I were selecting today I might pick Michigan State with its flashy green and white. How about you?

Mom, I don't know about an enriched vocabulary. She just prefers Cinderella to football, so that's what she thought of first. For colors, I think I'd go with red and pink. Don't the girls' sweatshirts look cute?

Polly, I'm glad you guys are faithful fans, pizza and all!

Julia, I really don't know what that was. Definitely not what we're used to. And since I"m not into the technical side of football, I'll probably never know!

AB, Twirl away!

Love the picture... I guess though that we didn't miss out on much as far as the game goes.

Interesting to be here where nobody even knows the Buckeyes (literally not even among the expats :)
